House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suggested that the coronavirus tests at the White House are not accurate and said she is awaiting test results for herself.
In detail: During her appearance on MSNBC on Friday morning, the House Speaker told the network’s Stephanie Ruhle that she got tested for COVID-19 in light of the news that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive. Shen then said that the tests used in the White House might yield false positives or negatives.
“Out of an abundance of caution, I was tested. I don’t have the results yet, but hopefully soon”. Pelosi said. “I have concerns about the test because obviously the tests that are happening at the White House are not as accurate as they should be. That’s a discussion that we have to have especially when it has led to the exposure of the president of the United States. That should have been avoided.”
