Black Lives Matter Rallied in Support of Chicago Looters

Black Lives Matter Chicago held a rally on Monday in support of the looters who wreaked havoc in the city and caused more than $60 million in property damage.

The protest took place at a police station in the South Loop, which according to the demonstration’s organizers is where the police are keeping the more than 100 arrested people, who broke into stores, clashed with the police, and committed other offenses during the unrest.

“The mayor clearly has not learned anything since May, and she would be wise to understand that the people will keep rising up until the [Chicago Police Department] is abolished and our Black communities are fully invested in,” Black Lives Matter Chicago said in a statement before the protest, regarding the upheaval on Monday.
