High-flying tech shareholders aren’t the only ones who can boast of record highs. The iShares TIPS ETF — a fund tracking inflation-protected U.S. Treasuries — closed at its highest ever Thursday. This comes as the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities slumped to the lowest since December 2012 as investors rush to protect themselves against any return of price pressures that may follow the unprecedented wave of fiscal and monetary stimulus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
