The attorney representing the couple that pulled out their guns at BLM protesters who broke into their private community has filed a motion to disqualify the St. Louis Circuit Attorney, alleging a conflict of interest.
In detail: The attorney, Joel Schwartz, who represents Mark and Patricia McCloskey cited two fundraising emails for St. Louis Circuit Prosecutor Kim Gardner’s re-election campaign, the Daily Caller reported. The emails mention the couple, which Gardener charged with felony weapons counts, and repeatedly states that the protesters who prompted the McCloskeys to take out their firearms were “peaceful.”
