Democratic Milwaukee state Sen. Tim Carpenter was assaulted by a group of protesters during violence that erupted outside the Wisconsin State Capitol on Tuesday night.
Carpenter said he was assaulted by a group of eight to ten people after they saw him filming the protest.
[…] He said he may have suffered a concussion, his eyesight was blurry, and his neck and ribs were still “sore” from the assault.
“I took this pic- it got me assaulted & beat up. Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me. Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked- stuck in office. Stop violence nowPlz!” Carpenter wrote on Twitter and shared the video of the attack.
