Stocks got hit harder on Monday than I’d anticipated, considering that the news of the day was an upcoming debate that will have little more than entertainment value for its huge audience.
There is only one possible game-changer I can conceive of at the moment: Hillary has a neurospasm serious enough to knock her out of the race. Since she is the least electable of all the Democratic candidates, that would be a bad thing for Hillary but a good thing for the Democratic Party.
In any event, like Donald Trump, we can only wish her well.
