New-home sales for July will be reported Tuesday morning, with expectations of a decline from June’s strong numbers.
This is not the sort of news that is likely to move markets, so we should prepare for another day of tedium unless there’s world-shaking news from outside of the U.S. Bullion should be quiescent as well, although gold may not be able to resist the downward pull of silver if the aggressive selling we saw in the latter on Monday continues for another day.
