President Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, says he will vote for Donald Trump in November.
Malik was President Obama’s best man, but now the longtime Democrat now says he has been deeply disappointed by his brother’s leadership.
According to a story in the New York Post, this morning, Obama decided to switch parties to vote for Trump when FBI Director James Comey decided to lay out the case against Hillary Clinton, but then failed recommend her indictment and prosecution.
The Post spoke to Obama from his village of Kogelo in Western Kenya, about 10 miles from massive Lake Victoria. He said of Clinton:
“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information.”
Malik is also upset with his brother and Hillary Clinton for having Libyan leader, Moammar Khadafy killed, whom he called one of his best friends.
“I still feel that getting rid of Khadafy didn’t make things any better in Libya,” he said. “My brother and the secretary of state disappointed me in that regard.”
Obama plans to return to the US to vote for Trump in November. He is still registered to vote in Maryland, where he worked as an accountant for many years.
