Still Report #977 – I Need Suggestions for My Press TV Interview @ 2000

from Bill Still

lass=”” >Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the invasion.
Press TV – the state television of Iran – just called and asked me to be on their morning news show starting at 20:00 Eastern Time, which is 01:00 hours GMT, and 04:30 hours Tehran time.
As I remember, this news show is live, but I’m not sure. I’ll try to record it since it’s a Skype interview.
I have refused interviews with Press TV for at least a year now – ever since their Parliament chanted “Death to America” and “Death to America”.
However, I was intrigued by the topic. Here is what I was sent.
“German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the UK’s decision to leave the European Union meant a break in the development of the EU.
“But she said the UK would remain a close partner of the EU, with close economic and security ties.
“Merkel said the UK had to outline what kind of relationship it wanted with the European Union in the future, and then the remaining 27 member states would have to decide to what extent they could accommodate that.
“The chancellor was speaking in Potsdam on Saturday when she met Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer at a CSU/CDU party strategy meeting.”
If you have any suggestions for how I should respond, please let me know in “Comments” to this report by 19:00 hours Eastern. Please make your suggestions brief. Longer suggestions tend to set aside and dealt with only if time permits.
I do not plan on pulling any punches with this interview.
I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good day.
