lass=”” >Former congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul is once again warning of the end of the financial system, but one famed Libertarian economist isn’t buying into it. ’I don’t think it’s the end of the world scenario that Ron Paul and other doomsayers are promoting,’ said Freedom Fest founder Mark Skousen on Kitco News Wednesday. Although the market uncertainty post-Brexit has got investors concerned, Skousen says he thinks the global economy is just in a “mild recession.” ‘As long as rates stay low, you can have a rising stock market and I think that’s what we’re going to see.’ He also said he is liking gold, which is up 0.5% on the day. ‘I got out of gold in late 2011 and now I’m back in as of February.’
