Good Day… And a Wonderful Wednesday to you! One day after hitting 5 home runs in a game, my beloved Cardinals can’t hit their way out of a wet paper bag with runners in scoring position! UGH! It’s going to be one of those years, I believe… But then a few years ago, the team was 35-35 after 70 games and looking like they were going nowhere only to go on to win the World Series… So.. patience, Chuck, patience! Emerson, Lake and Palmer (ELP) greet me this morning with their great song: Lucky Man… I used to play that song on my guitar, and of course sing along! When I meet a new nurse or technician that asks me to list my surgeries, I give them the laundry list and then tell them, “They call me Lucky”… HA!
