Bernie Sanders has spent the most – $168 million
Hillary Clinton has spent $158
Jeb Bush – although one of the first to drop out, spent $137 million.
Ted Cruz – spent $70 million
But the most frugal spender was the Donald who to date has spent just $47 million.
