According to blogger, Rick Wells, at RickWells.us, the only logical answer to why Ted Cruz has forbidden access to his immigration and naturalization records is that they do not exist.
Wells says that he knows the process of proving a child’s U.S. citizenship who is born outside the U.S., because he just completed it for his 3-year-old daughter.
“Proof was required, both that she was actually born to us as we claimed, in the form of photographs, medical records, ultra sound copies, and doctor and hospital statements, as well as verification as to our status as Americans and the associated documentation.”
“An interview with a State Department representative was also required, who needed to be satisfied that what we were claiming was true and correct.”
Wells says that there is nothing automatic about the process – as Cruz has intimated:
“The parents have the responsibility to schedule, provide documents and satisfy the interviewer and it has to be done prior to the child’s 18th birthday.”
This is the only possible way that someone with only a Canadian birth certificate can obtain U.S. citizenship. Obviously, Cruz’s parents have not gone through this process or under the current conditions they would certainly have been more than happy to have produced these documents.
“This idea that Ted Cruz somehow ‘automatically’ received his American citizenship status and documents without having to go through a process such as described above is ludicrous.”
There are only 2 possible scenarios in the Cruz case; he is either an undocumented alien; or he is a naturalized U.S. citizen.
Admitting to either case, would, of course prove that Cruz is not a natural born Citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to run for the office of either President or Vice-President.
According to Wells:
“That’s really the only possible explanation for his records being sealed. That doesn’t happen unless you’re trying to hide something….”
“It’s amazing that the supposed strict conservative constitutionalists supporting Cruz have no problem with his secretive treatment of his background and citizenship, yet they were enraged by the same type of misdeeds at the hands of Hussein Obama.” said Wells.
If Calgary Ted is a naturalized U.S. citizen, then he will certainly have to prove it the next time he tries to run for Senate from Texas.
“Unless he has a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) or was naturalized in some way … Cruz is not an American citizen. He is quite likely fraudulently holding the office of Senator from the State of Texas.”
