1) Finally, it’s curtains for Mayor Michael the Nanny Bloomberg’s Big Gulp Soda Ban. New York State’s Appellate Division First Department affirmed Justice Tingling’s blistering rebuke of the outrageous regulation. Bloomberg of course vowed to fight on, but it’s unlikely that New York’s highest court will agree to take the case and it’s equally unlikely that the City’s Council will pass a new soda ban during a mayoral election year. 2)We also discussed an article about our favorite 17 year old libertarian Elijah Johnson and, 3)the recent passing of Fracking Pioneer George Mitchell.
